Events This Week
Holiday Reveal Shop and Sip at Inspirations Gift & Home
October 8th, 10am to 8pm. Join Inspirations as they unveil their holiday shop and get a head start on decorating and shopping. There will be live music, valet service, and champagne.
Weekly Farmer's Market
October 10th, 9am to 1pm at the Friends Church parking lot. Fresh fruit, veggies, local eggs, bread, flowers, and more. New vendors show up often, so bring the whole family. It runs every Saturday from 9 to 1.
Cars and Coffee
October 10th, 10am to 12pm at 4382 Eureka Ave. Come check out some cool cars, drink coffee, and have great conversations. Everyone is welcome and you don't need to register to bring your car.
The Classic Cupcake Turns One
October 10th, 10am to 2pm. The Classic Cupcake is celebrating one year and thanking the community with a party. The first 50 customers get a $1 cupcake. There will be face painting, local vendors, music, kid activities, a photo area, a build-your-own cupcake bar, and every purchase gets a raffle ticket for prizes. Bring the whole family.
Spooky Season Cookie Decorating
The Cookie Element is hosting a cookie decorating class to celebrate the season. You get expert instruction and leave with cute, delicious cookies. Light snacks, beverages, and a dessert bar are included. Three dates are available.
Yorba Linda Housing Market This Week
Inventory keeps building when it should be dropping. Here's the snapshot.
This week: rates 7.50 percent, 144 active listings, 12 new homes, 11 closed, median 53 days on market. Cooling down.
Last week: rates 7.54 percent, 133 active listings, 14 new homes, 14 closed, median 49 days on market. Cooling down.
Last October: rates 6.37 percent, 117 active listings, median 56 days on market.
October Market Update
Here's what happened in September and what it means for you.
- 133 homes for sale, up from 117 a year ago. That's unusual for fall.
- 64 homes sold, the same as August.
- Homes took a median of 53 days to sell.
- Mortgage rates were at 7.59 percent as of October 7.
- Single-story homes sold faster than multi-level homes: 23 days vs 34.
- Sellers who cut their price lost a median of $99,000.
Buyers: you're starting to have an advantage, and sellers are often willing to help with closing costs or pay to lower your rate.
Sellers: prep, market, and price very carefully.

- Pizza Guys: just opened last week at 18653 Yorba Linda Blvd. Review coming soon.
- Sho Handroll Bar: just opened.
- Angelica's Table: new authentic Mexican restaurant opening in the next few months in the Station shopping center. Waiting on permits.
- The Artisan: under construction, from the owner of Terra Wood Fired Kitchen. Coming end of 2026 to Main Street.
- The Broken Yolk: coming soon to Main Street. Construction has restarted and walls are going up.
- Head Spa: now open.
- Slick City Action Park: coming end of 2026 to Savi Ranch shopping center. Construction has started.
- Sushi Mura: brand-new Japanese restaurant, soft opening now.
- The Flaming Forktail: bakery and diner coming soon. More info to come.
Business Spotlight: Inspirations Gift and Home
The holiday shop at Inspirations Gift and Home is now open. Stop by for champagne, treats, and holiday shopping. A violinist will be walking around the store from 12 to 6, and valet parking is free.
